FIREFIGHTER
GAUNTLET
A fire-ground based competition. Made for all Fire Depts.
Six fire-ground tasks. One course. Race head-to-head against the clock — solo, in a tandem, or as a four-person engine crew. Fire-ground skills, as fast as possible.

SIX FIRE-GROUND TASKS
Every competitor runs the same six tasks in the same order. Times are tracked per segment and combined into a total finish time.
Dual 5-Gallon Foam Bucket Carry
Start at the middle coupling and carry two 5-gallon foam buckets fifty feet down the course.
Weighted Sled Pull
Hand-over-hand rope pull. Drag a 120-pound weighted sled fifty feet to your station.
2x4 Chop
Square up to the chopping block and split a 2x4 in half with a pick-head axe.
100' Run
Sprint 100 feet to the nozzle station and pick up the charged line.
100' 1¾" Hose Drag
Drag a charged 1¾-inch attack line one hundred feet to the opposite end of the course.
Dummy Carry
Pick up the rescue dummy under the arms and around the chest, then carry it 100 feet backwards to the finish.
Individual divisions
Youth, 18-39, 40-49, and 50+ — separated by gender. Pairs run head-to-head; singles run a solo lane.
Tandem
Open-age, M/F/mixed pairs. Handoff allowed only after the chop and before the run.
Engine Crew
Four-person open-age teams. Switch members only on task completion. No physical assistance.
